Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady set to defend belt against Luan Santiago at Brave CF 23

Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

Brave Combat Federation returns to Amman, Jordan on April 19 with the lightweight champion, Al-Selwady, set to defend his belt against Brazilian, Luan Santiago.

Abdul (10-1) is currently undefeated in Brave CF and on a six-fight win streak. The announcement marks Al-Selwady’s first title defense under the promotion’s banner, since winning it back in November against Lucas Martins.

Santiago is coming off a unanimous decision win against Djamil Chan. “Miau” has a 12-3 record and looks to capture the lightweight title in his second championship bout for Brave CF. Martins (20-3) won the interim belt in dramatic fashion back in April 2018, when Santiago injured his arm with four seconds left in the fifth round, marking Santiago’s only loss under Brave Combat Federation.

Although the full card has yet to be announced, fans can expect a taste of the best international talents in the Brave CF roster, plus the biggest local stars in MMA. The promotion currently has two champions from Jordanian nationality: Al-Selwady and Jarrah Al Selawe, who holds the welterweight strap.

The card in Jordan is the second confirmed by Brave CF for 2019. Expect more fight announcements in the coming weeks.
