Erin Blanchfield eyes May return en route to ‘undeniable’ UFC call (VIDEO)

Erin Blanchfield didn’t just pick up one of the most impressive wins of her young career at Invicta FC 39, she also has an early entry for the 2020 Knockout of the Year.

“Cold Blooded” lived up to her nickname last month when she knocked out Victoria Leonard with a vicious head kick in the second round. The 20-year-old picked up her second consecutive victory and improved her record to 5-1 overall.

Blanchfield joined The Scrap to discuss how many times she’s watched the head kick KO finish, where it ranks amongst KOs of the year thus far, what it felt like to land it, eyeing a return in May for Invicta, wanting to make sure earning her shot with the UFC is ‘undeniable’, balancing being a professional athlete as a 20-year-old, and more.
