Jordan Leavitt: ‘Maybe I’ll become a KO artist’ en route to DWCS shot (VIDEO)

Read Time:49 Second

Unbeaten lightweight prospect Jordan Leavitt has suddenly found himself becoming more active after issuing an open challenge to all 155-pounders across the country at the end of 2019.

Leavitt improved to 5-0 this past weekend with a unanimous decision win over Izzy William at BCM Promotions: Fight Night 8. The event took place at the Mansfield Masonic Temple in Mansfield, Ohio.

The 24-year-old Leavitt joined The Scrap to discuss why he gave himself an average grade for his performance, overcoming some adversity, his nightmare trip to Ohio, working with Roxanne Modafferi closely ahead of the bout, landing his first punch on the feet of his pro career, being a substitute teacher, what books he recommends, when he would like to return, eyeing a spot on this season’s Contender Series, and more.

Check out the full interview with Jordan Leavitt following his fifth straight win over the weekend at BCM Promotions: Fight Night 8 in the video below.
