Mario Bautista had as good of a night as one can have in Houston on Saturday night.
Not only did he defeat the highly touted Miles Johns via TKO to earn his second consecutive victory at UFC 247, Bautista picked up his second consecutive performance bonus in the process.
And with that, Bautista believes a new deal with the UFC will be next, adding a cherry on top of the proverbial sundae.
Bautista joined The Scrap to discuss the flying knee that lead to the finish of the fight, what Miles said to him when they faced off during the media day, being weary of his opponent’s power, believing Saturday’s win was the biggest and best of his career, wanting to fight in Las Vegas for his next fight, why he scored the UFC 247 main event for Jon Jones, and more.
