The fights to watch at UFC Fight Night 152 in Rochester, New York

Read Time:3 Minute, 6 Second

On Saturday, May 18th, UFC is making its way back to The Empire State for Fight Night 152: Dos Anjos vs Lee.

Here are the big fights to look out for on the fight card:

Rafael dos Anjos vs Kevin Lee

In this welterweight main event, the #3 welterweight contender will be taking on the #5 lightweight contender. Kevin Lee has been fighting in the lightweight division but will be moving up to 170 pounds for this fight with RDA. Dos Anjos holds a professional record of 28-11, with a UFC record of 17-9. He has fought a total of 26 fights in the UFC. A true, true veteran of the company. He is 3-2 in his last 5 fights, having dropped his last two fights to current champion and #1 contender, Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.

His opponent, Kevin Lee, holds a professional record of 17-4, with a UFC record of 10-4. He is also 3-2 in his last 5 fights, having lost to two top contenders in the lightweight division, Tony Ferguson and Al Iaquinta.

This fight is going to be excellent. It will be very interesting to see what Lee can do at 170 pounds. Dos Anjos really needs to get a win here and Lee will surely be aiming to solidify himself in his new division. Expect fireworks out of these two on Saturday night!

Sijara Eubanks vs Aspen Ladd

UFC women’s flyweights collide in what may very likely end up being the co-main event of the evening. Eubanks was originally scheduled to fight current flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, at UFC 230 but it was later cancelled. Eubanks ended up fighting top contender, Roxanne Modafferi, defeating her by way of unanimous decision. Eubanks holds a professional record of 4-2, with a UFC record of 2-0, so far.

Her opponent, Aspen Ladd, holds a professional record of 7-0. 6 of those 7 were by finish. She currently holds a UFC record of 2-0. In her most recent contest, she defeated Tonya Evinger by first-round TKO at UFC 229.

Both of these ladies are on winning streaks and are some of the division’s best talent right now. Ladd is actually a bantamweight but she will be moving down to 125 for this fight.

This fight is going to be excellent. Don’t miss it!

Ian Heinisch vs Antonio Carlos Junior

UFC middleweights collide as DWTNCS prospect, Ian Heinisch, takes on American Top Team’s own Antonio Carlos Junior. Heinisch holds a professional record of 12-1, with a UFC record of 1-0, so far. In his UFC debut, he defeated Cezar Ferreira by unanimous decision at Fight Night 140. Prior to that, Heinisch was featured on DWTNCS, where he scored a first-round knockout over Justin Sumter.

His opponent, Antonio Carlos Junior, has 10 total fights in the UFC. A bit more experienced at the top level, I would say. Out of those 10 fights, he managed to come out with a record of 7-1-2. He holds a professional record of 10-2 overall. In his most recent right, he scored a first-round submission victory over Tim Boetsch at UFC on FOX 29: Poirier vs Gaethje.

Both of these guys have been very impressive in their respective careers so far and I am interested to see what else they bring to the table on Saturday night. Make sure you tune in to this one!

Tune in on Saturday night as all of the action goes down live on the ESPN network.
