The Rocco & Ryan MMA Show: Poirier vs. Hooker Preview

Read Time:1 Minute, 13 Second

On the seventh episode of “The Rocco & Ryan MMA Show”, the guys recap last weekends event and also preview this weekends card featuring a monster main event between Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker.

Blaydes beat Volkov via unanimous decision to headline the most recent UFC event, but the fight that stole the show was Josh Emmett and Shane Burgos. They went toe to toe for three hard fought rounds, ultimately ending in a narrow decision win for the Team Alpha Male fighter, Emmett. Rocco helps break down that fight and gives his top takeaways from one of the best fights of the year thus far.

The big controversy of the evening was when newcomer Max Rohskopf told his head coach Robert Drysdale that he wanted to quit after losing a definitive second round to Austin Hubbard. The guys give their opinions on this situation and discuss what to expect moving forward from Rohskopf. This Saturday’s card is another good one. Rocco & Ryan break it down in detail as MMA fans around the world eagerly wait for two of the best lightweights in the UFC to throw down at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The guys picks are as follows:

Ryan (6-4) predicts Poirier, Perry, Allen, Green, Woodson, Boser.

Rocco (7-3) picks Poirier, Perry, Allen, Green, Woodson, Lins.

Tune in and check out a fun-filled new episode of the most exciting weekly MMA show on YouTube.
