Who should ‘The Fiend’ feud with next?

Read Time:2 Minute, 54 Second

Bray Wyatt recently returned to WWE as “The Fiend” and successfully defeated Finn Balor at SummerSlam. The match could have been viewed as a squash, but Finn did mount some offense. However, to no avail.

With this win in his pocket who should Bray face next?

A concept that I would like to see is “The Fiend” avenging some of Bray Wyatt’s biggest losses, starting with The Undertaker.

As of recent, “The Fiend” has been attacking all returning legends that have appeared on WWE television. Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and Jerry “The King” Lawler. I think this will continue when SmackDown debuts on Fox, where I think “The Fiend” will sneak attack the Undertaker. Taker will then challenge Bray and promise to take “The Fiend” and his souls.

This feud would have some backstory also as Taker defeated Bray at WrestleMania 31.

Maybe Bray uses that loss during a Firefly Funhouse vignette to add more suspense to the feud that I think should take place at The Hell in Cell PPV. Although Taker is a legend, “The Fiend” should win in a competitive/hard hitting battle. The reason he should win is because WWE should want to keep the fan base wanting more of “The Fiend.”

That brings us to Bray’s most embarrassing moment in WWE, which came at the hands of “The Viper” Randy Orton. Orton aligned himself with the Wyatt Family in 2017 and helped them capture the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. In the coming weeks, Orton would do things to earn the trust of Wyatt and Harper. While Wyatt, WWE champion at the time, was doing an in-ring promo, Orton appeared on the big screen. Orton would proceed to burn down the Wyatt compound.

This backdrop could lead to an explosive feud and Wyatt recently tweeted, “A couple years ago @RandyOrton did some pretty bad stuff to me. He destroyed my temple, uncrowned me as The Champion of The World, caused my brother to abandon me and betrayed my trust. Worst of all… he didn’t say he was sorry. BUT, I forgive you Randy Bo Banders!!”  I think this feud would be money!

You could also throw John Cena or Daniel Bryan in the mix as Wyatt as had previous feuds with them in the past.  Although these matches would be welcomed I think the most anticipated match would be a rematch against Balor but this time “Demon” Finn Balor.

I think “The Fiend” will face “Demon” Finn Balor at Wrestlemania.  As the Demon, Balor is more aggressive and more importantly he is undefeated.  I think going into this match the hype and anticipation would be through the roof.  I see Bray being undefeated as the Fiend as well going into Wrestlemania.  This match would be main event caliber and the entrances would be awesome.   I see this match as a one off on the biggest stage in wrestling.  Although Wyatt doesn’t have a good record at Wrestlemania this match could turn things around.

WWE has options for Bray Wyatt but they need to make sure they are pushing his new character and keep “The Fiend” on a winning path.
