Steven Rae’s “The dirty truth behind XFC & CEO Steve Smith” is The Scrap’s Article of the Year!
After receiving multiple tips on what was going down over at XFC, Steven decided to do some digging and talk to people willing to share their experiences. We sat on this article for months before anything was published. The final straw was when stories started to circulate of fighters not getting compensated.
Though not typical for The Scrap, they are most certainly welcome moving forward. Everyone who contributes or is a part of the fight game in any way, should always leave it better than it was when they came in. We owe it to the fighters and the sport.
Steven always has great, super thought out pieces. But kudos to him on this one, and for pushing the site’s boundries to create meaningful change in the sport.
