The Scrap’s 2022 YouTube Show of the Year: The Royal Rundown

Read Time:1 Minute, 20 Second

Itโ€™s not often that we debut new awards at The Scrap, but we debuted the YouTube Show of the Year in 2021, after a year of pumping out content. Ever since our channel was created in 2020, weโ€™ve grown passionate about growing it and its viewership. We’ve seen plenty of shows come and go on the platform, but one that stuck, was The Royal Rundown…

Debuting on The Scrap a year ago this month, The Royal Rundown has grown into one of the most original and best pro wrestling YouTube shows today. It has also become our most consistent show on the channel since The WMMA Today Podcast. TRR may not be mainstream yet, but once fans get to know Sergio Vicente & Ms. Dre, they’ll instantly be hooked and tune in every week.

It’s crazy to think that Dre wasn’t originally planned to co-host, but after we met her, we NEEDED her to be part of this. Not only does their enthusiasm and friendship radiate on the show, both Dre & Serg are hilarious, give off good vibes, and love to bring on guest every now and then.

Help me congratulate our 2022 YouTube Show of the Year, The Royal Rundown!

Now with a full year under their belt, and the 50th episode near, we can’t wait to see how much the show grows in 2023. Make sure you tune in every Tuesday after WWE NXT, LIVE on our YouTube channel, to talk about all the hottest topics in pro wrestling.

Congratulations, Serg & Dre… Well deserved!
