5 classic Pro Wrestling matches to watch while stuck at home

Juan Carlos Reneo April 3, 2020 2 min read

With the world in its current state, it’s a great time to watch some classic matches. Here are some to watch while stuck at home due to COVID-19:

The Midnight Express vs. The Fantastics: NWA Worldwide 4.28.88

This match is what many critics consider to be one of the best tag team matches to ever take place in the US. This bout has aged well after all these years, and it shows how good both teams really were back in the day.

Kenny Omega vs. Kota Ibushi 2 out of 3 falls: DDT 2008

Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi have such an incredible chemistry as tag team partner and even as opponents. This bout is just really fun to watch and see how crazy these two are.

Colt Cabana vs. MJF: AIWRESTLING 2018

A very fun match to check out, this match has an interesting plot twist that will leave everybody watching in shock.

Manami Toyota vs. Akira Hokuto: AJW Destiny 1995

Two of the greatest female wrestlers of all time deliver an all-time classic in this bout. Toyota and Hokuto had such great chemistry in this bout. An absolute 5-star match and is worth the watch.

Tiger Mask vs. Dynamite Kid: NJPW 4.21.83

This match is the first time Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer was awarded 5 stars. This bout is just incredible and even after how many years have passed. This match has aged well and influenced future generations of wrestlers which is something to admire.
