The aftermath of AEW All Out
Another great PPV from AEW is in the record books.
AEW managed to have another great show and steal the attention of fans this past weekend. Even with having competition from NJPW and NXT UK which also aired on Saturday.
Thanks to All Out we know the direction AEW will go with some of its wrestlers and divisions for their upcoming TNT debut.
Women’s Division
All Out had two fun matches to watch with their women, the Casino Battle Royal was a bit awkward, but was a great set up for a future Bea Priestley-Britt Baker feud. Nyla Rose winning the battle royal was the right thing to book.
Shida vs. Riho was a really good match, and with Riho winning this bout, we know she’ll face Nyla Rose for the AEW Women’s Championship on their TNT debut in a David vs. Goliath-type story.
The fall of Kenny Omega
Right now, AEW is telling the story with Kenny Omega of him not being able to win the big matches and right now he’s in a struggle to become the Omega we know from the last 3 years.
Omega’s loss to PAC keeps his storyline of losing the big matches and helped PAC be considered a big threat on the AEW roster.
This storyline looks interesting for him to do and gives him a unique storyline we have not seen with him before. He will eventually rise and it will be something to look forward to.
The Tag Team Division
The tag team division stole the show in general. SCU and Jurassic Express (Stunt, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy) are some of their most over talent they have on the roster.
Private Party had another great match and people are loving them, they still need to change some stuff. But like I mentioned in the past, these two in a few years will be considered one of the best in the world.
Lucha Brothers vs. Young Bucks was just crazy, and I have no words to describe how crazy it was. After that match LAX made their AEW debut, setting them up as a team to fear.
Overall their tag team division looks strong which is good considering the upcoming tag team tournament for their TNT debut.
Chris Jericho is the AEW champion
This was the predictable and yet smart choice to go with. AEW booking Jericho as their first world champion makes sense for now. Jericho will be an entertaining heel champion, and whomever get to chase him for that championship and take it from him will become a star.
