Tobias Baker finds replacement, faces Aaron Thomson at Battle For The Brave
PureCombat: Battle For The Brave is set to take place in Salem, Oregon on Saturday, November 16th.
Aaron Thomson will make his pro debut as a replacement for John Simon, the younger brother of UFC’s Ricky Simon. He will now take on Tobias Baker in a catchweight bout next weekend on short notice.
Thomson comes into the fight with a 6-2 amateur record. The majority of his wins come from submission finishes. His losses came via split decision and one via submission. Thomson has shown a solid ground game and will likely play to his strengths come fight night.
Baker has done nothing but finish fights, and finish fights fast. He is off to a fast start with a 2-0 record as a pro, 5-0 overall. This will be Barker’s fourth fight in 2019 and fifth in the last 12 months.
We have not seen a fight go into round 2 for “The Heathen”, however, it has allowed him to stay active in his young career.
