Justin Tafa is set to fight Raphael Pessoa at the July 25 UFC Fight Island Fight Night on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Fighters had many different opinions on the island, Tafa actually doesn’t care considering he’s from an island himself.
The bout marks Tafa’s third fight with the UFC and the Samoan is looking to make it two wins in a row on MMA’s biggest stage. He’s already established himself as an exciting fighter in the heavyweight division and a win could quickly earn him a big boost with the fans.
In this interview, Justin Tafa discusses the upcoming fight, how Samoans are depicted in Hobbs & Shaw, and much more.
