
With retirement around the corner, who should DC fight before walking away for good?
The great Daniel Cormier will go down as one of the greatest mixed martial artist of all-time, despite what some people may say.
Cormier is a former Olympic wrestler who has been competing his whole life. What some people seem to not know is that Cormier didn’t start MMA until he was 30 years of old and even though he was wrestling his entire life, getting kicked, punched, and choked is very different. With a little more then a decade in the game, Cormier has managed to be the Strikeforce heavyweight champion, the UFC lightheavyweight champion, and after knocking out Stipe Mioic, became the second champ champ in UFC history.
Although his accomplishments continue to happen, DC has promised to retire in March. However, his longtime rival Jon Jones is officially back after beating Alexander Gustafsson, he called out DC to settle the score once and for all. Jones wants the third fight and has made it very clear.
With Cormier at the top of the heavyweight division, here are the fights that I’d love to see before he decides to call it a career:
