Pro Wrestling Spotlight: ‘Starboy’ Nano Lopez
As the Pro Wrestling Spotlight series continues, we find interesting pro wrestlers from all the parts of Spain. This time out, the subject of this series comes from Galicia… The talented “Starboy” Nano Lopez. He is truly an interesting prospect to follow from the Spanish territory. Not only is he talented, he has international experience in countries like Poland and Italy as well.
As many pro wrestlers nowadays, Lopez became a fan of pro wrestling during his childhood. For “Starboy”, his childhood heroes were Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson and The Rock. These pro wrestlers shaped the way he looks at pro wrestling.
Nano’s had his first match in front of people back in 2007 for SWA in Segovia. But actually began training in 2016 for the polish promotion, with his proper debut two years later in 2018. Lopez is one of the few Spanish pro wrestlers that began his journey outside of the borders of Spain.
Matches like the legendary Rock vs. Hogan, the bouts between Triple H and The Rock, and the match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair left an impression on him. In some ways, his in-ring work is inspired by those matches… But a match he particularly loves is his match against Matt Sydal back in February, a pro wrestler he has followed for a very long time.

For “Starboy”, his goal is to keep growing and learning as a professional wrestler. All while traveling all over the world. Most importantly though, he wants to inspire kids and people to follow their dreams just like he has done.
