Cage Fury FC Women’s Bantamweight Championship

Auttumn Norton (C) vs. Emily Martins

CFFC 144 features an exciting title clash in the main event as reigning and defending women’s bantamweight champion Auttumn Norton (4-2) faces Emily Martins (3-1) in a fiery rematch. Norton aims to make her first title defense. She follows an impressive first-round knockout over Martins in June 2024. Their first bout only lasted ten seconds as Norton delivered an emphatic right hand flush on Martins’ chin. Norton, 31, has a record of 4-1 over her last five fights. She is riding the momentum of a two fight win streak. Both wins were stoppages. She has proven to be a finishing threat in the cage with four stoppage victories on her resume.

The challenger, Emily Martins is just 21-years-old as she heads into this championship main event rematch. She’ll look to right her wrongs inside the octagon after suffering the devastating ten-second knockout loss to Norton. The Brazilian is a bright prospect holding legitimate submission skills on the canvas. She made her professional MMA debut in September 2023 and has quickly racked up three submission victories over four fights. Martins responded well to her first loss. She achieved a slick first round submission win over Nikola Kacperska back in April.

Prediction: Emily Martins via Submission

Cage Fury FC Vacant Bantamweight Championship

Sean Mora vs. Mark Grey

CFFC 144’s co-main event highlights the vacant bantamweight championship up for grabs between Sean Mora (6-1) and Mark Grey (7-1). Fury FC veteran Sean Mora makes his CFFC debut after three fights with the promotion. The well rounded 29-year-old bantamweight comes into this title opportunity riding a three fight win streak. His last fight came in October 2024 when he delivered a quality second-round victory over Miller via Rear Naked Choke. Mora displayed composure on the feet until securing a well-timed takedown over the tough striker. Once on the canvas, Mora worked his way to the back of Miller until finding the finish.

Grey, 32, has a massive opportunity in this co-main event slot. He spent the first four fights of his professional career with CFFC—dating back to April 2022. He would go on to leave the promotion after his fourth fight in December 2022. Grey got off to a razor sharp start as a pro—going 6-0. His first and only loss as a pro came in his return to the promotion in April 2024. Since that loss, Grey has fought once—earning a unanimous decision victory over Filipe Esteves in December 2024. Grey showed layers to his game in the performance. The American did a good job of using his striking to open up the takedowns on Esteves.

Prediction: Sean Mora via Unanimous Decision
