5 main roster debuts we could see the week after WrestleMania 38

Read Time:3 Minute, 37 Second

WrestleMania is officially behind us. Now pro wrestling fans get to look forward to one of the most anticipated Raw and SmackDown episodes of the year…

Before Night 1 of WrestleMania 38, we got to see the NXT roster perform at Stand & Deliver. With how certain matches played out, one has to think that we’ll see some main roster debuts this week. But who could potentially be getting called up?

Read about the five potential main roster call-ups we could see this week:

Bron Breakker

This one seems obvious after he lost his main event match against Dolph Ziggler. Aside from main eventing the show, Breakker has been traveling with the main roster for house shows, often tagging with Riddle. We’ve even seen Sasha Banks compliment the second-generation superstar, saying he’s a natural in the ring.

It’s clear the WWE is big on Breakker. It was even cool to see him induct his father and uncle in the WWE Hall of Fame this past week. So there is no doubt in my mind that Bron’s time on NXT 2.0 is unfortunately coming to an end. Let’s see if he debuts on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown this week…

Tommaso Ciampa

Now we all know Tommaso Ciampa wrestled his last match under the NXT banner at Stand & Deliver. Before the match got started, Ciampa did the water spitting spot to pay tribute to Triple H and he did the Shawn Michaels muscle pose. After the match, it was a very emotional scene indicating that Ciampa’s time in NXT is truly over.

Now we have already seen him on SmackDown over the last month or so. First appearing with Bron in the feud against Dolph Ziggler. Then we saw him compete in the Andre The Giant Battle Royale the Friday before WrestleMania. Now that Edge’s new faction with Damien Priest has come to fruition, many fans believe that Ciampa would be the perfect third for the group.

Let’s hope we find out what direction WWE uses for the former 2x NXT Champion now that he’s on the main roster…

Imperium

Maybe I haven’t paid too much attention, but it seems there is a lack of heel tag teams on the main roster currently. With GUNTHER winning at Stand & Deliver, and Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner dropping their championships to MSK, it would be the perfect time to bring these three to the main roster.

Though they should debut on Raw, having them on SmackDown wouldn’t be a bad idea either. I think all three men have proven what they are capable of, so let’s call them up… TOGETHER.

Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa had one hell of a showing at NXT Stand & Deliver. Regardless of his current name, the WWE Universe knows he is Jimmy & Jey Uso’s little brother. On Wednesday nights, you often hear the crowd chanting “UCE” – so you know WWE is well aware we know. And truthfully… they need to get the hint already and allow upcoming wrestlers to use their family names. It really is the easiest way to build a future star.

Anyways, during Night 2 of WrestleMania, Solo tweeted, “Something needs to change,” leading fans to believe that he could eventually be the next addition to The Bloodline. If they aren’t going to give us Naomi in the faction, then they should strongly consider bringing in Solo. Not only would it be huge for Solo, but it would be a very interesting twist to one of the best factions in WWE modern history.

Johnny Gargano

Out of all the options on this list, this one seems like a reach. But who knows… Johnny did say he will not be wrestling until his son is born. Now that the baby is born and healthy, maybe we’ll see the return Johnny Wrestling. But this time on the main roster!

It doesn’t sit well with me that we have yet to see Johnny outside of NXT. And who knows, we may very well never see that. But here’s to hoping that we do get that chance the week after The Show of Shows. Regardless of where he ends up next, Johnny Gargano is missed.

Who from NXT 2.0 do you want to see debut this week? Let us know in the comments!
