Cody Stamann believes he can win however he wants at UFC Louisville
Cody Stamann caught up with Mike Owens ahead of his upcoming fight against Taylor Lapilus at UFC Louisville. In our Interview with the UFC Bantamweight, he reflects on past controversies, notably his disputed loss to Douglas Silva De Andrade. Stamann, known for his tenacity and wrestling prowess, credits his training at Xtreme Couture for his growth as a fighter. He emphasized the gym’s formidable environment in shaping his skills. He confidently asserts his status as the best wrestler in the bantamweight division and discusses his collaborative efforts with fellow fighter Kai Kamaka.
Wrestling is a pivotal aspect of Stamann’s fighting style. Stamann believes that his wrestling gets overshadowed by his talents as a striker. Because many were crediting him solely because of his wrestling abilities, he felt he had a point to prove in past fights. If Cody needs to go back to his roots, he’s not afraid to come fight night.
