The Professional Fighters League returns to North Carolina for PFL Charlotte.
The event features a night of high-level action, headlined by Bryan Battle as he looks to bounce back from a disappointing promotional debut and make an immediate push toward title contention. Battle will look to move closer to title contention when he takes on one of PFL’s top middleweight prospects, Dalton Rosta.
There’s a small change to the betting guide. Going forward, every official bet will include a unit size, and each guide will feature a betting record and unit recap for added transparency and consistency.
If you’re unfamiliar with units, they’re a standardized way to measure bet size regardless of bankroll. As a general rule, 1 unit should equal 1% of your bankroll. For example, if your bankroll is $1,000, one unit is $10. If it’s $5,000, one unit is $50.

This is a pick em’ fight in my book seeing that both Josh Silveria and Aaron Jeffery like to hug and fight for positioning. Since this looks to be a slow, fifteen minute fight filled with grappling, I’ll take dog money on Silveria knowing he’s the better wrestler and is off a big win as a +200 underdog.
Bryan Battle (-135) vs. Dalton Rosta (+114)

Fading Dalton Rosta here. I don’t believe in his hype and I think PFL is showing that they’re slowly giving up on him after giving him opportunities to be a name for the company.
Rosta has now dropped his last two, both TKO losses and I think that’s a trend that could continue against Bryan Battle. Rosta’s cardio is poor and when he can’t mix in his wrestling, his lack of technique on the feet allows him to be hit clean. Rosta is simply too reliable on his power, so if Battle can hang onto Rosta by clinching him, making this a muay-thai fight, Battle should eventually wear him down for a finish.
