According to Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions, the blockbuster Rousey vs. Carano event became the most-viewed MMA event in American history, peaking at 17 million global viewers and drawing an average of 12.4 million viewers across the triple-main event.
In the United States alone, the card averaged 9.3 million viewers and reportedly peaked at 11.6 million domestic viewers, officially setting a new benchmark for MMA viewership in America.
Presented by Most Valuable Promotions founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, the event streamed live on Netflix from the Intuit Dome in California.
The card was headlined by MMA pioneers Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, with Rousey submitting Carano via armbar in just 17 seconds.
