Finn Balor vs. Matt Riddle will steal the show at NXT TakeOver: War Games
On November 23, the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois will host NXT TakeOver: War Games 3.
The attention leading up to NXT War Games is, fairly, on the two War Games matches. I think there is one match nobody is talking about that will potentially steal the show. The War Games matches will be insane, but there is a match you can not overlook.
Finn Balor vs. Matt Riddle
At NXT War Games Finn Balor will face Matt Riddle. When Finn re-debuted in NXT, this match was one I had listed as a dream match from the start. I think this match has the potential to be the best show this weekend. Whenever there is a gimmick Pay-Per-View the attention is usually on the headlining gimmick match, and matches like this one get overlooked often.
I think people have forgotten that Finn Balor is one of the best wrestlers, not just in WWE, but the world. I think Finn Balor as a face is one of the best wrestlers in the world. That being said if you are mainly a WWE watcher, go on YouTube and search “Prince Devitt”. Finn Balor as a heel, which we haven’t really seen in WWE, is on another level.
Combine the evil, dark character of Finn with the cool, laid back Matt Riddle, and you get an amazing clash of characters. From what I have seen, Finn and Riddle have never met in the ring. This is a true first time ever match between the two.
I think it’s fair that the War Games Matches are getting all the attention, but make no mistake this will burn the house down.
