Top of the Class: What is our inaugural class up to today?

Read Time:1 Minute, 32 Second

As we gear up to reveal our 2022 Top of the Class List, we thought we should take a look to see how our inaugural class is doing so far. Our seven fighters featured last year are all on the verge of doing some really big things. After a full year, these fighters are making splashes. The sky is the limit looking beyond, who knows what will come in five or ten years.

Aaron Jeffery recently debuted in Bellator, and is quickly rising up the ranks. He is now ranked #6 in the promotion after taking out the #2 ranked Austin Vanderford. Yazmin Jauregui made her highly anticipated UFC debut this year. She is now being looked at as a future star in the strawweight division, and rightfully so.

Both of The Figlak Brothers are on the verge of that breaking through to the next level. Michal recently got signed to the UFC and made his debut at UFC Paris. Mateusz should be getting that much deserved Cage Warriors title shot soon. As for Anton Turkalj, he was signed to the UFC on short notice after his Dana White’s Contender Series fight.

New England native Mitch Raposo was also booked for Dana White’s Contender Series, but that was last year. He’s now closing in on his chance at a CES MMA flyweight title shot. Paul Capaldo was supposed to be featured on Contender Series last year. But tested positive for Covid and had to withdraw. He is now in the process of making his return to CFFC.
