TUW 14 Results: The Ultimate Fatal 4-Way

Read Time:1 Minute, 23 Second

The Ultimate Writer: Season 3 is a competition that features 16 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition of article views. Winners this season are determined weekly, however for this past week specifically, the highest viewed article from each person will be added to their team’s total.

This fifth card showcased an insane Fatal 4-Way that determined who moves on in the bracket. It was also our second Redemption Week! So every player had the chance to get back in the competition and win it all.

Below are the results for the fifth round of TUW.

Katie Vega, Connor Rogowsky, Juan Reneo & Cole Henry defend their territory successfully.

The Veterans are officially moving on in the bracket defeating Team 2 (Kevin Varghese, Ryan Truland, Josh Diaz & Dylan Fritts), Team 3 (Jake Foley, Leif Payne, Brandon Sibcy & Austin Luff), and Team 4 (Lee Brown, Akhilesh Gannavarapu, Greg Matthews & Doug Murray). Though we thought it would be more competition, the result should surprise no one as the Vets have played a solid game of chess this season.

The Newbies had no chance, losing to the Veterans every week so far in the competition. With only 4 slots left on the bracket, Katie, Connor, Juan & Cole will fill those roles and continue the bracket next round. As for the two lowest scoring teams (Team 3 &4), they will be eliminated and unable to enter the competition indefinitely.

The next round will bring the last set of twists in the competition. So tune in next week to see what happens next on The Ultimate Writer.
