TUW 30 Results: Winner & Loser Battle Royales

Read Time:2 Minute, 11 Second

The second round of The Ultimate Writer Season 6 has officially ended… TUW 30 featured important Battle Royales; one for the Winner’s Bracket and one for the Losers. The winners of this round helped determine the official bracket for the season.

If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 12 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly and for this first round, each contestant’s highest viewed piece of content went head-to-head to determine the week’s winner.

The Scrap staff participating in TUW Season 6 will be competing for the grand prize of $50.

See the results for TUW 30 below…

Winner’s Bracket: Austin Luff def. Katie Vega, Anik Subramanian, Kyle Dimond, Jake Noecker & Evan Mazotti

To no surprise, Austin Luff (3,146 Views) won the Winner’s Bracket. But this time around, he had some competition with Katie Vega (2,126 Views) catching up in the very last day. Despite Anik Subramanian (274 Views), Kyle Dimond (120 Views), Jake Noecker (54 Views) & Evan Mazotti (43 Views) losing this week, they proved why they were in the winner’s circle and will be unaffected this round. Their involvement allowed us to generate a ranking system to assign a place on the official bracket.

Loser’s Bracket: Marcos Antelo def. Juan Reneo, Lee Brown, Mishal Shuhaiber, Asad Shahid & Utkarsh Tiwari

Marcos Antelo (1,462 Views) got extremely lucky his content from Round 1 did well on Instagram and Reels are being counted this week. Otherwise, he would have been one of the two creators getting eliminated today. Despite that, he’s still talented and could very well win the season… He put up Winner’s Bracket numbers this week, leaving everyone in the dust.

But not everyone is leaving the competition. Utkarsh Tiwari (91 Views), Juan Reneo (42 Views) & Mishal Shuhaiber (32 Views) will be joining the names above to round out the bracket. As for Lee Brown (28 Views) & Asad Shahid (2 Views), they are unfortunately eliminated and will not be moving forward in the competition.

Did we get the potential finale already in the first round between Austin & Marcos? Both faced each other in Round 1 and both won their respective brackets in this round. That means both men will be going straight to the semi-finals and can sit back next week knowing they get a bye.

Be on the lookout for what’s next in Round 3.
