TUW 32 Results: Luff vs. Noecker

The fourth round of The Ultimate Writer Season 6 has officially ended… TUW 32 featured the next bracket matchups. The winners of this short round will be moving on to the finale. Some creators have been officially eliminated, while others have ended up in the Loser Bracket for the first time.
If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 12 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly and for this fourth round, each contestant’s highest viewed piece of content went head-to-head to determine the week’s winner.
The Scrap staff participating in TUW Season 6 will be competing for the grand prize of $50.

Austin Luff (2 views) def. Jake Noecker (1 view) via Split Decision
I know this round was only four days long, but I’m cracking up at how it ended. It was a highly anticipated matchup that ended as one of the worst outcomes in TUW history. Shades of Francis Ngannou vs. Derrick Lewis. Austin now moves on to the finale, barely. Jake heads to the Loser Bracket for the first time this season.
Anik Subramanian (149 views) def. Marcos Antelo (25 views) via second-round Submission
In the best match of the week, Anik Subramanian becomes the first newbie to solidify his place in the finale with a win over Marcos Antelo. After getting an interview with the President of BKFC, this was pretty much destined. But waiting for him in that finale matchup are two of the best veterans TUW has ever had…
As for Marcos, though he should be eliminated due to losing his last life, we’re going to allow him to fight to get into the finale. We reward effort here at The Scrap, and no one put forth more written content this week than him. Let’s see how he does and if the Darkhorse can get back in the running.
Katie Vega (21 views) def. Kyle Dimond (16 views) via Unanimous Decision
The Queen of TUW, Katie Vega, is back where she belongs… The finals. Already a 3x TUW Champion, can she get the job done for a record fourth time? As for one of our favorite creators Kyle, he’ll head to the Loser Bracket for the first time. His awesome Alexander Volkanovski episode unfortunately started to gain traction a bit too late in this round.
