Card Preview & Predictions for SNME XLIII

Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIII is shaping up to be a must-watch event. Below, we break down each matchup, provide our predictions, and highlight the key storylines ahead of the big night:

Undisputed WWE Championship No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way: Damien Priest vs. Trick Williams vs. Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton

This is such an interesting Fatal 4-Way. Not the four I would’ve put on my bingo card if you asked me last year. But, it only further proves that WWE is fully committed to pushing the next generation after John Cena’s retirement. And wow, do they have a star on their hands with Trick Williams.

As much as I’d love for WWE to pull the trigger and have him win, I have a strong feeling that with the Royal Rumble being in Saudi Arabia, Sami Zayn is the one walking out as the winner. Fans don’t want another Damien Priest-Drew McIntyre feud. And by process of elimination, plus the fact that the other two are heels, I’m going with Sami. He absolutely needs to be in the main title scene in 2026.

Prediction: Sami Zayn

Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu

This being Jacob Fatu’s first match back says it all. They are about to push him to the moon and he needs a win if they want to push him as a dominant force in the main event picture.

I still can’t get over the crowd in France booing Cody Rhodes. At some point, you have to think he’s finally going to turn heel and shake things up. Maybe this is the catapult for it all. But for now, I’m rolling with America’s Most Wanted on this one, yadadamean?

Prediction: Jacob Fatu

Women’s Tag Team Championships: Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY (c) vs. The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez)

This is going to be such a good match that I hate there has to be a loser. Honestly, I can’t see them taking the belts off Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY this quickly. They just got their first merch as a team and haven’t had much of a chance to defend the titles or be involved in a relevant storyline.

That said, if you want to keep things interesting and shake up the title picture, to show how good these teams are and that there’s no dominant team, which is why we’ve had rotating champions, I’d love to see Judgment Day win the belts. I’m really enjoying the duo of Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, but right now, I just can’t go against Rhea and IYO.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY
