Card Preview & Predictions for NXT Stand & Deliver

NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 is shaping up to be a must-watch event. Below, we break down each matchup, provide our predictions, and highlight the key storylines ahead of the big night:

NXT Championship: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ethan Page vs. Ricky Saints vs. Tony D’Angelo

This one hits me right in the feels. On one hand, I don’t want Joe’s reign to end so soon, he hasn’t really had much time to leave a mark as champion. On the other, it feels like Tony D’Angelo’s moment might be coming.

I’ve always viewed Tony alongside Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, and Grayson Waller as the cornerstones of the NXT 2.0 era. They represented Team 2.0 in that iconic WarGames clash against Team Black & Gold, and while the others have already moved on to the main roster, Tony is still in NXT and has yet to hold the top prize.

Since his return, Tony has been steadily building. Now, he seems poised to finally get his turn to lead NXT as champion. But I don’t know… Realistically, all four competitors could thrive on the main roster. But I’m not sure WWE is ready to take the belt off Hendry. And no, I’m not confident saying that.

Prediction: Joe Hendry

NXT Women’s Championships: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Kendal Grey vs. Lola Vice

Even though NXT went with the typical triple threat instead of naming a true No. 1 contender, this match is going to cook.

But one thing is for sure, Jacy Jayne is losing that title. It is time. And while I’m a fan of Lola Vice, that train already left the station. She should have been NXT Women’s Champion by now, but the moment passed.

Kendal Grey, on the other hand, is red hot. She is connecting with the crowd, she feels fresh, and this is exactly the kind of spot where you create a new star instantly. If Shawn Michaels does not pull the trigger here, it is a massive miss. Everything is lined up perfectly for Kendal Grey to have her breakout moment on the biggest NXT show of the year.

There is only one outcome that makes sense.

Prediction: Kendal Grey

North American Championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Johnny Gargano

There is just no way Johnny Gargano’s depressed ass is beating Myles Borne. Just… no way. I love the story they’re telling, but this is only the beginning of Gargano’s journey back to becoming a solo star in WWE.

Borne is a new champion, and this is going to be his first real title defense. And what a defense it will be, on the biggest NXT show of the year.

I’m riding the Myles Borne train all the way to the top, and nothing is stopping that on Saturday night!

Prediction: Myles Borne

NXT Tag Team Championship: The Vanity Project (c) vs. Los Americanos

This one was not on my 2026 bingo card. But the more you think about it, the more it starts to make sense.

The Vanity Project, Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor, have been money. They’ve got the look, the charisma, and they feel like a legit centerpiece tag team for NXT. Taking the belts off them this quickly would normally feel way too soon. But then you look at the bigger picture.

Jackson Drake already losing his title changes the dynamic a bit. A beltless Vanity Project might actually be part of the story they’re trying to tell. Meanwhile, Los Americanos are not just some random thrown-together team. They have momentum, and there is clear crossover potential with AAA.

If WWE wants those NXT Tag Titles showing up on AAA programming, this is the moment to do it. And let’s be real, El Grande Americano is going to be involved in some way. That kind of presence could easily tip the scales. Everything points to a shift here.

Prediction: Los Americanos

Women’s North American Championship: Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Blake Monroe

Tatum Paxley just won this title back from Izzi Dame, who was left off Stand & Deliver this year, which is criminal.

At first, I thought Izzi might factor into this match somehow, but her focus seems to be shifting toward the NXT Women’s Championship picture instead. And truthfully, that is where Blake Monroe should be too. With that in mind, it is hard to see a title change here.

Tatum is finding her groove right now. The character work is clicking, the dynamic with Shiloh Hill adds something different, and the crowd is fully behind her. This feels like the start of a real run, not the end of one.

Blake Monroe is more than ready, but this just does not feel like her moment. If she is not in the Women’s Championship picture soon, she probably should be on the main roster. Either way, she’s losing here.

Prediction: Tatum Paxley

Sol Ruca vs. Zaria

When it comes to story, build, character work, and everything they’ve done to set this up, this is easily the best storyline heading into Stand & Deliver. And now, it is finally here.

They teased this for so long, and timing is everything. That is why this feels like Zaria’s moment.

Sol Ruca is another name who could easily be in the main title picture. But, that is not the route they are taking right now. With the way things are lining up, it feels like she is getting closer to a call-up. Because of that, this is the perfect spot for her to elevate someone else on the way out.

Zaria needs this win. The division needs what she brings. She feels like a different kind of presence, and this is the moment to fully unleash that. Sol is going to be a star regardless. But right now, it’s about Zaria.

Prediction: Zaria

Birthright vs. Wren Sinclair, Shiloh Hill, Hank & Tank, and Kevin Knight

I am a little disappointed this is the route they decided to go. But at the same time, everyone in this match deserves a spot on Stand & Deliver. Especially Birthright, which clearly feels like a faction they are all in on right now. I mean, even William Regal and Finlay showed up recently to support their sons in the faction.

This probably could have been something more focused, but it works perfectly for their spot on the card. And honestly, it is good to see matches on the countdown show again. They feel necessary and give more people a chance to get on the card.

That said, this feels pretty straightforward.

With how things played out on NXT this past week, Birthright getting their revenge just makes the most sense. The story is there, the backing is there, and this is the kind of moment that helps solidify them as a real force moving forward.

Prediction: Birthright
