Should Conor McGregor eventually become a Fight Promoter?
Conor McGregor recently revealed that he was personally invited to The Kingdom of Riyadh by the Prime Minister himself. He immediately accepted and flew out on a private jet. A personal invite to watch the Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou fight with the Prime Minister highlights the level of stardom McGregor has reached. Naturally, Conor McGregor is a fantastic fight promoter. But the fight is exciting by itself, with a heavyweight crossover of combat sports. Headlines follow the MMA superstar wherever he goes, and his fanbase is relentless. He definitley brings more attention to the fight.
Ahead of the blockbuster Boxing event this weekend, Conor McGregor, ever the fight promoter, decided to go on X and talk about how excited he is. He also previewed Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou and give his take on the matchup. And does Mike Tyson have an influence in this fight? Maybe in more ways than you might think. Both Fury and Ngannou look good in the week leading up to the fight, and the result could go either way. The fight will surely be exiting with Fury looking in good shape, and the expectation that power will follow Ngannou to boxing.
