Sexy BJ Ray Returns to Pro Wrestling at BullyMania
Fans of WWE LFG have a reason to celebrate because Sexy BJ Ray is officially returning to the ring.
After a polarizing run on seasons 1 and 2 of LFG, Ray was released from WWE in October 2025. Determined to stay in professional wrestling, he went to great lengths to get noticed, including trying to catch the attention of Tony Khan and AEW. He was even seen in a TNA crowd where he attempted to make waves online.
But after much anticipation, it was announced that BJ Ray will make his independent wrestling debut for Bring On The Bully, facing Slice Boogie at BullyMania on March 27.
BJ Ray joined the WWE Performance Center as a trainee in 2024. But, his time with the company ended amid reported backstage issues. While Ray suggested his release stemmed from friction with management, Booker T noted that his real-life attitude reportedly mirrored his polarizing on-screen persona, which may have contributed to the decision.
Before stepping into professional wrestling, Brayden Ray was a standout athlete. He excelled as a collegiate wrestler at Duke University and earned accolades in high school, including the 2018 Freak Show National Championship in California.
One thing is undeniable: BJ Ray was born for professional wrestling. His journey back to the big leagues begins at BullyMania. His return is sure to excite LFG fans who remember his charisma and in-ring antics. Whether you loved him or loved to hate him, Ray’s presence guarantees attention and adds major intrigue to an already electric lineup.
BullyMania takes place at The Compound by “Dirt Dog” in Commerce, California, featuring a stacked card of indy veterans and high-energy matchups.
