No luchador has captivated the attention of wrestling fans around the world more than Hijo del Vikingo. If we don't get Hijo del Vikingo and Psycho Clown against Omega, I'll sue Konnan fir Terrible booking.

What makes Hijo del Vikingo so special?
The best way to describe him by using the term “VIDEO GAME WRESTLER”. Generally, that term is used in a derogatory form by old school fans to insult modern day wrestlers, but with Hijo del Vikingo, it’s a compliment. What makes Vikingo so good is the fact he can do any move you can think of and on top of that, he’s a very creative wrestler, coming up with all types of new move variants. Hijo del Vikingo is so good that wrestlers like Kenny Omega want to wrestle him.
American wrestling fans may be somewhat familiar with his work, thanks to a a few appearances he had on IMPACT a few years ago. Unfortunately, due to some visa issues, Vikingo has not been able to wrestle in the United States. But that needs to change. When this issue is fixed, IMPACT, PWG and AEW should book Vikingo for matches.
The good thing of modern day wrestling, is the fact the internet makes seeking matches from all over the world very easy, and Vikingo’s matches are not the exception. Here’s some Vikingo match recommendations:
- vs. Laredo Kid (09-06-2019)
- vs. Aramis vs. Arez vs. Taurus (26-10-2019)
- vs. Josh Alexander (28-01-2020)
- vs. Abismo Negro vs. Aramis vs. Latigo vs. Villano III Jr. (15-05-2021)
AAA has in their hands one of lucha libre’s rising stars and need to take care of him. Hijo del Vikingo is in the point of his career where he needs to make that next big step. Wrestling in the U.S. indies like PWG or a big match with someone like Kenny Omega will help one of lucha libre’s next big stars take that next step.
