Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje have been going at it on social media recently and UFC fans have been clamoring to see the two go at it inside the octagon.

According to Brett Okamoto of ESPN, fans will get their wish. Reports indicate that the two lightweight contenders have verbally agreed to meet at UFC 268 in November. UFC 268 will also feature a rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington for the welterweight championship. The event is expected to take place on November 6th at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden.

Michael Chandler made his UFC debut in January of 2021 and made quick work of Dan Hooker, knocking him out in the first round. He would fight for the UFC lightweight championship only three months later, but would come out on the losing end.

Both men are coming off of losses and both men have only one thing on their mind, the lightweight championship.
