Cole Smith vs. Miles Johns in the works for UFC Vancouver in September

Read Time:1 Minute, 1 Second

As first reported by Mike Heck, a 135-pound showdown between Cole Smith and Miles Johns is in the works for UFC Vancouver.

Smith will look to make it a perfect 2-0 in his UFC career, and continue his undefeated streak in his backyard. “The Cole Train” made his UFC debut against Mitch Gagnon at UFC Ottawa in May via unanimous decision.

Johns will make his UFC debut after locking a UFC contract on season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. “Chapo” defeated Richie Santiago on the second episode, picking up a dominant unanimous decision win. The former LFA bantamweight champion is also undefeated, with 10 fights on his resume.

UFC Vancouver will be headlined by Donald Cerrone and Justin Gaethje and will take place September 14 at Rogers Arena. Smith vs Johns is the second fight to be announced for the card.
