On Saturday, May 18th, the UFC will be taking its talents to Rochester, New York for Fight Night 152: Dos Anjos vs Lee.

Here are the underrated fights to watch for Saturday’s fight card:

Desmond Green vs Charles Jourdain

UFC lightweights collide as Rochester’s own Desmond Green battles Charles Jourdain in this prelim co-main event bout. Green holds a professional record of 22-8, with a UFC record of 3-3. He holds wins over division fighters such as Gleison Tibau, Ross Pearson and top contender Josh Emmett. Green defeated Josh Emmett in his UFC record, managing a split decision win at UFC 210 in Buffalo. Green is a true fighter’s fighter. This guy puts it all on the line when he enters the Octagon.

His opponent, Charles Jourdain, holds a professional record of 9-1, 0-0 in the UFC. This fight will be his UFC debut. Jourdain is most known for his very successful run in TKO, where he managed to pull an 8-1 record, with all 8 of those wins being finishes. Jourdain is surely a game opponent for Green.

In both of their most recent fights, they each won by way of TKO finish. The only difference, Green scored a first-round finish and Jourdain had a fifth-round finish. Regardless, they are both killers and this fight is going to be excellent.

Megan Anderson vs Felicia Spencer

UFC women’s 145ers take action as top division contender, Megan Anderson, takes on Invicta 145-champ Felicia Spencer. Anderson holds a professional record of 9-3, with a UFC record of 1-1. In her most recent fight, she defeated former bantamweight title challenger, Cat Zingano, by way of first-round TKO.

Her opponent, Felicia Spencer, will be making her UFC debut in this fight. She is the current Invicta 145-champ and is making her cross-over to the biggest MMA stage of them all. Spencer holds a professional record of 6-0, with 4 wins by finish. In her most recent fight, she defeated Pam Sorenson by fourth-round submission.

This fight is the main event of the preliminary card for a reason. I think this one will blow the house down. Don’t miss out on featherweight action!

Michel Pereira vs Danny Roberts

UFC welterweights take the stage as Michel Pereira battles Danny Roberts.

Pereira will be making his UFC debut in this fight. He holds a professional record of 21-9, with 14 total finishes. Pereira has bounced around through different weight classes a bit. This fight will take place at welterweight but Pereira is actually the #1 ranked pro-middleweight and #1 ranked pro-heavyweight in both South Korea and Japan.

His opponent, Danny Roberts, holds a professional record of 16-4, with 12 total finishes. In his most recent fight, he lost to Claudio Henrique da Silva by submission. He holds a UFC record of 4-4, holding wins over names like Dominique Steele, Bobby Nash and David Zawada.

With Pereira making his UFC debut and Roberts looking to get himself back into the win column, this fight is sure to be a good one. Tune in!

Don’t miss out on all the action when the UFC makes it’s return to Rochester on May 18th.
