AEW confirms huge TV deal with TNT
The heavily rumoured TV partnership between All Elite Wrestling and the TV network TNT is now official, the announcement was made today with Double or Nothing on the horizon.
This is a massive deal because it solidifies AEW as competition for WWE. Other companies have tried to compete with leader in sports entertainment, however, none have had the type of funding Tony Khan has provided, since Ted Turner backed WCW.

It seems AEW will air a weekly TV show in the fall, and All Elite has a trademark for “Tuesday Night Dynamite,” which could be the name of their weekly show. The press release from TNT stated that the goal of AEW is to provide a show that is, “less scripted, soapy drama, and more athleticism and real sports analytics, bringing a legitimacy to wrestling.” After SmackDown signed their deal with Fox moving their show back to Friday nights, it opens up Tuesdays for AEW’s potential weekly show.
The first PPV under the AEW banner “Double or Nothing” airs live from Las Vegas on May 25th, and will be available on TNT’s live streaming platform B/R Live.
