The fifth round of The Ultimate Writer Season 4 has officially ended, and it featured our second and final redemption week. TUW 21 featured one of the best main events in history. As for the co-main event, it helped finalize our finalist. We’re finally nearing the end of the competition…
If you didn’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 16 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where article views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly; but for this round specifically, the teams with the highest total overall views got the win. This round was two weeks long, and featured some new teams due to a few shake ups from the last round…
This fifth card helped us determine the final teams who are truly worth competing for the grand prize of $200 and a chance to design a shirt catalog that will be published with Made Dangerous.

Katie Vega & Joey Els (270,949 Views) def. Sergio Vicente & Cole Henry (318 Views)
Another slaughtering this week by Joey Els, who has really skyrocketed our YouTube channel views since joining the team. This week he’s joined by the powerhouse Katie Vega, and together they will enter our final matchup as the team to beat.
Sergio Vicente unfortunately had his partner stolen last minute by Katie, so we feel for him. As for Cole Henry, he’s gotten by with his one article consistently generating views. He’s been the only one that’s been able to do so over the last two seasons, which is crazy to think. Could it be the end of the road for Sergio & Cole? We’ll find out soon…
Austin Luff & Shawn Bitter (1,855 Views) def. Lewis Simpson & Juan Reneo (801 Views)
The new duo of Austin Luff & Shawn Bitter made a statement this week by defeating two of the best in the competition. Though Lewis Simpson & Juan Reneo put up a valiant effort, their time may be over on this season of TUW.
Austin & Shawn will meet Katie & Joey in the finale, and it’s going to be an absolute war! We seriously cannot wait to see how these next few weeks go down before we crown our winners.
Makoa Goble (67 Views) def. Josh Diaz (15 Views)
In our final redemption challenge of the season, Makoa Goble & Josh Diaz both got one more chance to get into the finale. With Makoa winning, only he will be eligible to get back into the competition with his 67 views.
It’s no surprise that the two highest view counts out of the losers this week will form the final team in the finale, the question now is… WHO WILL IT BE!? You shall find out soon enough.
