TUW 27 Results: The Final Redemption Battle Royale

Read Time:1 Minute, 49 Second

The fifth round of The Ultimate Writer Season 5 is officially over… Now that TUW 27 has come to an end, we officially have our finale matchup for the season. We also had to say goodbye to our last batch of eliminated competitors.

If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 12 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly. But for this second-to-last round, it was two weeks long and the contestant’s highest viewed piece of content each week went head-to-head to determine the winner.

The Scrap staff participating in TUW Season 5 will be competing for the grand prize of $150 and their choice of a WWE or UFC NFT (Non-Fungible Token).

Katie Vega (2,899 views) def. Chris Presnell (2,516 views), Shawn Bitter (669 views), Juan Reneo (68 views), & Andonis Steffanou (1,956 views).

The HBIC does it again! Katie Vega has officially won her way back into the finale after a first-round upset that put her in the loser bracket. Shades from TUW 3 where she won the whole competition after winning a redemption round, Katie has the opportunity to do it yet again in our Season 5 finale…

Chris Presnell had an awesome showing, though he probably could have won if he promoted new content during Week 2 of TUW 27. Same for Andonis Steffanou, who only made it competitive because of a video we made on his behalf one hour before the end of this round. Rookie mistakes from those two…

As for Shawn Bitter, he was starting to come back during Week 2, but unfortunately it was not enough. Sadly, Juan Reneo surprised us with a terrible showing right before the last round. But, I guess that’s just how things go sometimes.

It will officially be Austin Luff vs. Joey Els vs. Katie Vega in the TUW 5 Finale! Stay tuned for more details on what will be the hardest finale we’ve ever had…

Which content creator do you think takes home the title of The Ultimate Writer?
