Exciting Prospects on the Card

Cezary Oleksiejczuk and Steven Asplund both earned their spots in the UFC after competing on Season 9 of Dana White’s Contender Series. Guilherme Pat was also expected to appear that season, but was instead signed directly to the roster. Cezary joins his older brother Michał Oleksiejczuk, forming another talented brother duo inside the UFC.

Known for their heavy hands and relentless pressure, the Oleksiejczuks continue to represent just what “Polish Power” is. Cezary has been sharpening his skills with the Fighting Nerds team in Brazil, adding new layers to his already dangerous game.

Asplund’s path to the Octagon is one of perseverance and transformation. After losing a significant amount of weight, he turned his life around and achieved his dream of becoming a professional athlete. Now competing at heavyweight in the UFC, his story has inspired many fans who follow the sport. Despite his humble personality outside the cage, Asplund is brash and explosive when the fight begins.

On the women’s side, Tereza Bledá and Jamey-Lyn Horth were originally scheduled to fight in June, but Bledá was forced to withdraw. The 23-year-old Czech prospect has shown promise since her UFC debut, with her only loss coming against title contender Natália Silva.

The UFC appears eager to continue her development, matching her with the more experienced 35-year-old Horth. A victory here could mark a pivotal moment in Bledá’s young career, while Horth will aim to halt the rising prospect’s momentum.

Main Card Predictions

Brandon Royval vs. Manel Kape

This fight will finally take place, and hopefully the third time’s the charm. The two were first scheduled to meet in March, but Royval was forced to withdraw due to injury. Kape went on to defeat a late replacement that night.

Later, they were rebooked for June, only for Kape to pull out with an injury of his own. Royval then lost to Josh Van in what turned out to be a thrilling bout and a breakout performance for Van. Finally, the matchup is set once again. With some bad blood brewing between them, fans can expect an all-out brawl.

Prediction: Brandon Royval via Unanimous Decision
