5 WWE NXT Prospects to watch in the Women’s Division

Read Time:3 Minute, 45 Second

WWE NXT has the strongest women’s division in North America. They have a solid group of established talent with names like Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Lyra Valkyria, and Tiffany Stratton, just to name a few. However, what is just as impressive is the amount of young, talented prospects they currently have at the Performance Center.

It does make it difficult to narrow this list down to just five prospects. But, here are five women on NXT that are worth keeping an eye on this year:

Karmen Petrovic

Karmen Petrovic has recently started making her presence known, most notably going to the semi-finals of the Breakout Tournament and feuding with Lola Vice on X. As is a common theme in this article, Petrovic only made her debut in March of 2023. Prior to wrestling, she was an accomplished martial artist going as far as earning multiple gold medals. Although she has only been wrestling less than a year, she is already developing a character that is resonating with the NXT faithful. From the gear, to the entrance, to her in-ring style; she has potential to become a major player in WWE NXT as call-ups continue to happen this year.

Kelani Jordan

Speaking of the Breakout Tournament, Kelani Jordan defeated Karmen Petrovic in the semi-finals, but fell short in the finals against Lola Vice. Much like Petrovic, Kelani has also only been wrestling less than a year. And at the age of 24, she has all the time in the world… In the short time that we have seen Kelani in the ring, she never fails to impress with her in-ring presence and exciting move-set. Kelani very much reminds me of a Kofi Kingston. Which was only reinforced when she had a spot reminiscent of Kofi in a recent Battle Royal. She has the look, a fun style, and after a bit more development, big things are undoubtedly coming in the near future.

Lola Vice

Lola Vice was the winner of the Breakout Tournament and has potential to be one of the most successful athletes to transition from MMA. Vice had a winning record in the Bellator cage with a record of 5-1 and her only loss came by way of decision. Even when Lola Vice was fighting, she still had sprinkles of a pro wrestler, whether she knew it or not. For her to come into wrestling and transition as fast as she has is not an easy thing to do. She has taken to it exceptionally fast, and that speaks to her work ethic and dedication to her craft. Lola currently has that Breakout Tournament contract, so it’s inevitable that she’ll go from prospect to champion in record time.

WWE NXT Lash Legend

Lash Legend

There have been several wrestlers over the year that command attention whenever they enter a room. Lash Legend fits that description to a T. Of all the members of Meta-Four, she stands out the most. That is no disrespect to the other members of the group, she just has that “it” factor wrestlers need to make it to the very top. Lash is also new to the industry, which is crazy to think. The former WNBA player has already been part of several viral moments and has slowly become a consistent force on WWE NXT. That main roster call-up is inevitable, and barring any extenuating circumstance, she has future main eventer written all over her.

WWE NXT Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca is one of the few on this list that has had the most TV time. But unfortunately, she has been sidelined for some time with a knee injury. Although she has had a decent NXT tenure so far, she is still only 24, which is mind blowing. In that short time, she has shown her star presence, introduced us to a viral finisher, and has been one of the most creative when it comes to in-ring work. Had she not been sidelined with this injury, you have to wonder how far up the card she would be at this point. Sol is exceptionally athletic and comes off as incredibly likeable. When you think of somebody that WWE could potentially build their division around in 2-4 years, Sol comes to mind. Her return ranks amongst the most anticipated in 2024…

There’s a strong youth movement in NXT that has the future of WWE looking bright. Let us know who your most promising prospects are in the comments below.
