The Matches on Episode 9

Summer Sorrell def. Tatyanna Dumas

Before the match, Tatyanna Dumas reminds Summer Sorrell not to forget her moves, sparking a back-and-forth. Summer found the comment ironic, given Tatyanna’s reputation for being stiff and dangerous in the ring, and for forgetting things herself.

The match starts with some back-and-forth action, but Summer quickly takes control, delivering a relentless beating to Tatyanna. Tatyanna eventually finds a brief opening and rallies with the crowd fully behind her to gain momentum. Mid-match, she forgets a spot, which the Legends immediately call out.

Summer regroups, rolls out of the ring to create distance, and ultimately uses the ropes to cheat her way to victory. After the match, Summer cuts a promo declaring that she’s better than Tatyanna and everyone else.

Trill London def. BJ Ray

BJ Ray returns to his heel tactics for this matchup, immediately jawing at the referee and taunting the crowd as they boo. Trill London climbs the ropes to a loud cheer, but before the match can even begin, BJ delivers a low blow while Trill is on the ropes. As Trill drops to his knees, the bell rings to officially start the match, drawing disapproval from the Legends.

BJ dominates early, punishing Trill with relentless offense. Trill eventually fights back and builds some momentum, but BJ quickly shuts him down. While battling on the ropes, Trill attempts a Whisper in the Wind and misses completely. However, he recovers, turns the tide, and lands a picture-perfect Swanton Bomb to secure the win.

After the match, BJ tells Trill not to throw punches a certain way next time. Trill responds that Michelle told him to. BJ fires back, saying that if he’s working with him, Trill needs to let him know or he’ll beat his ass next time. The exchange quickly escalates into a brawl, with BJ taking Trill down.

Drake Morreaux def. Chris Island

The match kicks off with the crowd behind Drake Morreaux. Chris Island tries to get ahead by using a rope break to land a punch, but Drake quickly regains momentum. Chris eventually steps aside, allowing Drake to run into the corner and turn up the aggression.

Outside the ring, Chris throws Drake into the corner, but once back inside, Drake uses his size to dominate, delivering a punishing beating. He goes for the Chokeslam, but Chris reverses and climbs to the top rope. Drake catches him and finishes the match with a Chokeslam for the win.

Dani Sekelsky def. Haze Jameson

The two lock up immediately after the bell, with Haze Jameson gaining control to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Dani Sekelsky elbows Haze as she heads to the ring, gaining momentum and throwing punches recklessly.

The action spills outside, where Haze starts punishing Dani while playing to the crowd. Frustrated after only a two-count, Haze begins choking Dani on the bottom rope. Dani fights back, with the crowd reacting to every strike, but Haze keeps halting her momentum. Eventually, Dani lands a DDT on Haze to secure the win.
