WWE LFG Season 2: Episode 12 Recap
The world of professional wrestling is entering a new chapter as WWE LFG returns for Season 2 on A&E. With one season now under their belt, the series continues to provide a behind-the-scenes look at what it truly takes to earn a WWE contract, this time with even higher stakes. This season brings back familiar faces from Season 1, while also introducing new talent eager to prove they belong.
Led once again by WWE executives and Hall of Famers Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Shawn Michaels, LFG features a stacked coaching lineup. The Undertaker, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley return to guide the next generation, while Michelle McCool joins the series for her first full season as a mentor. Each week, these legends will help shape the superstars of tomorrow. They offer expertise in-ring and on the mic, helping mold the future of WWE one match at a time.
Season 2, Episode 12: ‘Last Woman Standing’
The twelfth episode, ‘Last Woman Standing’, aired on September 14, 2025 on A&E. The episode begins with Shawn Michaels officially starting the playoffs. The women will go head-to-head, with some facing elimination, while the Legends decide who stays and who goes.
Before the matches, the Future Greats sat down with the Legends to reflect on the season and make their case for why they deserve to move forward. Unfortunately, Summer Sorrell is injured and unable to compete, so the other three matches carried on.
The Matches on Episode 12
Bayley Humphrey def. Dani Sekelsky
The match starts off intense, with Dani Sekelsky having a few strong moments before Bayley Humphrey quickly takes control and dominates. Dani eventually uses her speed to her advantage, targeting Bayley’s leg to slow her down. In the middle of the attack, Bayley regains momentum and chokeslams Dani, who continues to fight back.
As Bayley goes for the pin, Dani locks in Hell’s Gate. Bayley slams her twice to break free, but it only gets her a two-count. Moments later, Bayley locks in her finisher on Dani to secure the win. After the match, Undertaker eliminated Bayley, sending Dani to the semi-finals.
Zena Sterling def. Haze Jameson
The match kicks off with Zena Sterling displaying her awkward yet unique moveset. Haze Jameson counters with classic heel tactics, making the match entertaining as she yelled at the referee and blamed him during her moves.
It was a solid back-and-forth contest, with both competitors showcasing their strengths in the ring. However, after being caught cheating on a pin attempt, Haze wasted too much time arguing with the referee. That opened the door for Zena to hit her finisher and score the win.
After the match, Bubba Ray eliminated Haze, sending Zena to the semi-finals.
Sirena Linton def. Tatyanna Dumas
The match kicks off with Tayanna Dumas showing an intensity that had been missing from her all season. The two battled in a hard-fought back-and-forth contest, each having their moments. The crowd rallied behind Tayanna, who put up a valiant effort, but it wasn’t enough as Sirena came away with the win.
After the match, Sirena licked Tayanna’s face before Booker T entered the ring to raise her hand, signaling her spot in the semi-finals as Tayanna was eliminated.
