Montel Jackson’s plan for UFC Raleigh: ‘Destruct to destroy’ (VIDEO)

Read Time:51 Second

Montel Jackson is one of the UFC’s brightest prospects in, quite possibly, their most deepest division. “Quik” will kick off his 2020 campaign later this month to keep the train moving in the right direction.

The 27-year-old Jackson will face Felipe Colares at UFC on ESPN+ 24. The event takes place Jan. 25 at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Curtis Blaydes and former UFC champ Junior dos Santos.

In a recent conversation with The Scrap, Jackson discusses having a nine-month break between fights, what he has been doing since his UFC 236 win over Andre Soukhamthath, his excitement to get back to competition, teammate Ode Osbourne making his UFC debut a week prior, how he sees the fight playing out on Jan. 25, goals for 2020, holes in the MMA media game, and more.

Check out the full interview with Montel Jackson ahead of his bout with Felipe Colares at UFC Raleigh in the video below.
