At UFC 250, reigning featherweight and bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes dominated her challenger in Felicia Spencer. Thus resulting in her first successful title defense at 145-pounds.
With that, Nunes becomes the first female dual division titlist to have successfully defended both of her belts. On this week’s edition of the WMMA Today podcast, Drake and Steve reflected on the champion’s performance and discussed what could be next for her and Spencer. Is Nunes a top 5 GOAT regardless of gender?
There was also plenty of fight news to look at as Invicta FC announced their first card since the pandemic. Along with that was the bantamweight main event pitting Holly Holm opposite Irene Aldana.
