Card Preview & Predictions for SNME
Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV is shaping up to be a must-watch event. Below, we break down each matchup, provide our predictions, and highlight the key storylines ahead of the big night:

Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Ethan Page
This match comes at such an interesting time. Penta is really starting to solidify himself in his reign, and he isn’t backing down from any challengers — even his own brother is willing to step up. But Ethan Page just debuted on the main roster with plenty of eyes on him, and WWE already seems committed to building him up.
While taking the title off Penta this early doesn’t feel quite right, Ethan also doesn’t feel like the type of character who should lose clean right away. If WWE wants to instantly establish Ethan’s credibility on the main roster while continuing the momentum from his standout NXT run, then I’m all for it.
Ethan is money, and Penta will recover just fine. I’m going with Ethan.
Prediction: Ethan Page

World Tag Team Championships: The Vision (c) vs. The Street Profits
What’s even more interesting about this matchup is the story surrounding it, especially with Seth Rollins desperately needing allies.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are starting to show signs of tension, while Austin Theory and Seth shared similar gears during their RAW main event. At the same time, Bron Breakker still wants Rollins’ head.
There’s a lot of chaos brewing right now, and for that chaos to fully unfold, the titles need to come off The Vision.
If you’ve been following or tuning into my streams, you already know we’ve been predicting Theory eventually aligning with Seth again. It feels like the perfect time to pull the trigger.
Prediction: The Street Profits

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab
Rhea Ripley already beat Jade Cargill at WrestleMania despite Jade carrying much of the feud on her back. There’s absolutely no way the heels can lose here. If they do, WWE risks making Jade and her new faction look like jokes right out of the gate.
Rhea can take a loss here. So can Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, especially since they already feel destined for a split sooner rather than later because the women’s world title picture needs them.
We’ll keep it simple.
Prediction: Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab

Women’s Tag Team Championships: Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. The Irresistible Forces
Having Brie Bella and Paige back has been great, and it was an awesome WrestleMania moment despite Nikki Bella getting injured. But the reality is, The Bella Twins should absolutely have those titles at some point.
With Nikki’s timeline still uncertain, WWE may need to revisit the teams they originally took the titles off. Lash Legend is clearly destined for big things. But, her tag team with Nia Jax just works right now and should continue for as long as it can.
It feels natural, it’s dominant, and the tag team division needs them.
Prediction: The Irresistible Forces
