Meet the Cast of The Ultimate Fighter 34
The Ultimate Fighter is back.
Season 34 of The Ultimate Fighter officially premieres June 14 on Paramount+, immediately following UFC Freedom 250. The second episode airs Tuesday, June 16, just two days later.
Every episode following will be weekly, every Tuesday until August 11.
TUF Coaches
In past seasons, we’ve seen coaches be fighters who will then eventually fight each other. But, in recent years, it has been legends.
This time around, the UFC is bringing in two familiar legends to lead the charge, as Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping take on coaching duties. Both men are former world champions, both are now staples on the mic, and both know exactly what it takes to succeed inside the Octagon.
Coach Cormier brings a wrestling-heavy mindset, championship experience in two divisions, and a reputable coach Coach Bisping, on the other hand, is grit personified, a former middleweight champion who made a career out of defying expectations.
The dynamic between these two should be one of the highlights of the season. They’ve spent years going back and forth on commentary, and now they finally get to go head-to-head in a different kind of competition.
But this is all about the fighters—and that’s exactly how it should be. Two divisions will be featured this season, bantamweight and women’s strawweight.
So, who’s entering the cage for TUF 34? Let’s take a look at this season’s cast.
Men’s Bantamweights
As for fighters, there’s a couple stand-outs and some names that you may not know, but will quickly become familiar with.
Rodrigo Vera enters with an impressive 21-1-1 record, making him one of the most experienced fighters in the house. Abdul Hussein and Artem Belakh also stand out as dangerous contenders with strong resumes and finishing ability.
Then you’ve got rising names like Xavier Franklin, Sean Mora, and Christian Strong. They are fighters who may not have the same level of experience, but are willing to throw down for UFC glory.
Marlon Jones is another name to keep an eye on, entering the show undefeated at 6-0. Fighters like Micaias Ureña and Illimbek Akylbek Uulu round out a division that feels wide open.
Women’s Strawweights
On the women’s side, the strawweights bring a mix of undefeated prospects and international talent.
Natalia Alves and Melissa Amaya both come in at 8-0, immediately positioning themselves as fighters to watch. Valesca Machado adds veteran experience to the mix, while Hailai Wushamo brings an impressive 10-1 record.
Names like GiGi Canuto, Anita Karim, and Mackenzie Stiller add even more intrigue, giving this division a well-balanced blend of styles and backgrounds.
Historically, The Ultimate Fighter has played a major role in building the women’s divisions in the UFC. Don’t be surprised if this season produces another future contender.
