The card was announced with no details regarding venue or location, although Ariel Helwani mentioned the headliner potentially taking place in San Francisco inside the new Chase Center. However, per sources, the strawweight matchup is also being considered for UFC Boston which is tentatively penciled in for October 18.
Calvin Kattar has also been rumored for the promotion’s return to Boston after his TKO win over Ricardo Lamas at UFC 238. With Rob Font available after having an opponent switch and his second opponent pull out at UFC Greenville, the bantamweight is also looking to fight this Fall close to home.
Headliner or not, UFC Boston is lining up to be a homecoming for the New England Cartel.
