Brock Rechsteiner Signs With Titans — But WWE Future Still Looms

Read Time:2 Minute, 59 Second

The Steiner family legacy continues to grow, this time on the football field.

According to his management, Brock Rechsteiner, son of wrestling legend Scott Steiner, has signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent following his college career at Jacksonville State Gamecocks.

It’s a major step for Brock, who now looks to carve out his own path in the NFL. But, his journey carries a unique wrinkle that makes this story especially interesting for wrestling fans.

A Strong Football Resume

Rechsteiner made an impact during his time at Jacksonville State, showing versatility as a pass-catcher. In his final season, he totaled 33 receptions for 356 yards and four touchdowns across 10 games, emerging as a reliable offensive weapon.

He also participated in Jacksonville State’s Pro Day, where he had the opportunity to showcase his athleticism in front of NFL scouts, a moment that helped lead to this opportunity with Tennessee.

However, like many undrafted free agents, the road ahead won’t be easy.

The Titans notably invested heavily at wide receiver, including using the No. 4 overall pick in the draft on Carnell Tate. That crowded depth chart could mean Rechsteiner faces an uphill battle to secure a roster spot, a situation not unlike what his cousin faced years ago.

Following a Familiar Path?

The Steiner family has already seen this story play out before.

Brock’s cousin, Bron Breakker (son of Rick Steiner), initially pursued football and earned an NFL opportunity with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Kennesaw State.

During his final college season, Breakker, then known as Bronson Rechsteiner, led Kennesaw State with 909 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 112 carries. He also showed his versatility with a 60-yard touchdown pass.

Bronson joined a Ravens roster that already featured a crowded backfield and established fullback Patrick Ricard, making his path to a final roster spot difficult.

That opportunity did not stick, but it set the stage for what came next.

Breakker transitioned to WWE shortly after and quickly developed into one of the company’s fastest-rising stars, showing how quickly a Steiner can pivot from football to the squared circle.

That connection is not just coincidental.

Brock himself signed a WWE NIL deal in early 2025, signaling that the company already has interest in bringing another Steiner into the fold.

And according to Scott Steiner, that door is very much open.

WWE Still on the Table

In a March 2025 interview, Scott Steiner revealed that while he once hesitated about his sons entering the wrestling business, his perspective has changed, especially with WWE thriving and opportunities expanding.

More importantly, Brock has already expressed interest in following in the family footsteps and has been in communication with Bron Breakker about a potential future in wrestling.

So while the NFL is the current focus, WWE isn’t going anywhere.

In fact, if history tells us anything, this could simply be the first chapter.

More Than Just Football

Brock Rechsteiner’s signing isn’t just another undrafted free agent story, it’s a crossroads moment.

On one side: the grind of making an NFL roster.

On the other: a ready-made path into sports entertainment, backed by one of wrestling’s most iconic families.

For now, the goal is clear — earn a spot in Tennessee.

But if that opportunity doesn’t materialize, don’t be surprised if the next time you hear the name Brock Rechsteiner… it’s inside a WWE ring.
