It’s perfect timing for Bayley to win the Money in the Bank briefcase

Read Time:1 Minute, 52 Second

Money in the Bank has been a PPV match for the men dating back to WrestleMania 21 and the PPV was introduced a few years ago. However, in the past couple years, the women have also been given a Money in the Bank match on the PPV, with Carmella winning it the first year and Alexa winning last year. The Women have been given a match again this year and the participants were revealed on this week’s edition of Raw and SmackDown.

The participants this year are Natalya, Naomi, Dana Brooke, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Ember Moon, Mandy Rose, and Bayley. This is an interesting mix of competitors, with Carmella and Bliss being former briefcase holders and having a very good variety of styles.

MITB Prediction

As I did with the men, I want to eliminate a few possibilities straight away. Natalya, Brooke, Naomi are definitely not winning due to no storyline behind them at the moment. I think this comes down to two people for me, Bayley and Ember Moon.

I say Moon because she is fantastic and her being a champion would be fantastic, she also has the most steam behind her. However, I think it is most likely that Bayley walks away with this briefcase. With Sasha being gone (for now), I think they want to treat Bayley well to try and get Sasha back, but that is more speculation than a reason.

My reason for picking Bayley is because on this week’s TV, she lost to Becky and Charlotte clean as a whistle, which leads me to believe she will cash in on one of them. Of the two, I would rather Ember win, but I think they are going a bit of an edgier route with Bayley and adding dimension to her character. That being said, along with the men’s match, this is insanely hard to predict and there are a few ladies that could realistically get the win.

The women’s Money in the Bank matches have not always been the best, but with athletes like Ember and Naomi in there, I have high hopes for this match.
