For the last entry of the Pro Wrestling Spotlight series, we reintroduce the talented Sara León. Back in February of last year, we had the pleasure of talking to León. Over a year later, we catch up to see what has changed in her career, and what to expect from her going forward.
Sara León is without question one of the hottest prospects in the ever-growing Spanish scene. The progress seen from her in the last year has been amazing. Needless to say, there’s even more to come with her as she continues evolving…
As a wrestler, León has grown in many ways. She has learned to take her time and enjoy the process, as you never know what can happen in the future. León has also been able to acknowledge what aspects of her in-ring game needs to keep evolving, something many wrestlers are unable to do early on in their careers.
Meiko Satomura is one of León’s favorite wrestlers, and a major inspiration for her. León hopes to one day be able to wrestle Satomura in a singles match, a match that has potential to be amazing. Until this match takes place, León will continue improving and evolving inside the ring in order to be ready.
León is one of the Spanish wrestlers with the most career progression. She doesn’t feel the pressure because she is more interested in improving her in-ring abilities, as well as always doing things correctly inside a ring. This is what makes León one of the most interesting wrestlers Spain has to offer…
As a wrestler, it can be difficult to find that connection with fans, along with having more confidence. However, that’s an aspect of León’s game she wants to keep improving. Fans know very well that pro wrestling doesn’t have a margin of error, and you need to continue finding what works for crowds. For León, it’s key to learn from her mistakes. Having more opportunities to showcase what she is made of allows her to improve in wrestling, as well as in life. Practice is key.
Sara’s evolution as a wrestler has been amazing to watch for fans of the Spanish scene. The sky is truly the limit for her if she keeps evolving as a pro wrestler. There is no doubt that one day, the world will hear the roar of The Red Lioness…
