The rise of White Wolf Wrestling and the Spanish pro wrestling scene

Read Time:1 Minute, 48 Second

Spain has been known as a country with much passion for professional wrestling, this has been one of the main reasons WWE has gone to the country every time the European tour begins. The local wrestling scene has been obscured by the other big European scenes like Germany and the UK, but this is changing.

The promotion Triple W (White Wolf Wrestling) based in Madrid has been gaining some attraction from wrestling fans in Spain and all over the world in the last couple of years. The promotion began operations back in the late 2000s but slowly, and with the help of the great wrestlers and good quality matches people, were starting to notice WWW.

White Wolf Wrestling started to get notoriety thanks to an excellent match between A-Kid and current WWE wrestler Ricochet back in 2017. All over the world, people started to hear about Triple W and the talented youngster A-Kid. In 2018, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer awarded the match between Zack Sabre Jr. and A-Kid a rating of 5 stars and the promotion’s popularity grew, thanks to the accolade.

A-Kid is not WWW’s only talented wrestler, they have a colorful roster and each one of them are amazing to watch in the ring. Javier Vives is a powerful Hoss, that is fast and with a brutal arsenal of moves and behind WALTER, he is my favorite wrestler to do chops in the modern era. Another great wrestler from Triple W is Tavares de la Mancha a man with the gimmick of a conquistador that has a powerful social media game. In the ring, he’s fun to watch wrestle. Other great wrestlers from Triple W are: Rizo, Sara León, Carlos Romo and many others who are charismatic and unbelievable in the ring. The crazier thing is the fact that the roster of Triple W is very young and when this wrestlers hit their prime, they will be even more outstanding.

Triple W is a rising promotion with fun storylines and great matches to watch. They are taking the world by storm with each show, they are solidifying themselves as a must-watch indie promotion.
