Season 2, Episode 1: ‘Draft Drama’

The premiere episode, Draft Drama aired on on June 29, 2025 on A&E. The episode picks up right where things left off last week, with Booker T walking out after Michelle McCool selected Penina Tuilaepa and Anthony Luke for her team. The rest of the LFG Draft selections went as follows:

  • Bubba Ray chose his runner-up from last season, Zena Sterling
  • Booker T picked newcomer Harlem Lewis
  • The Undertaker selected his runner-up from last season, Shiloh Hill
  • Bubba Ray followed with Elijah Holyfield, who was on Team Undertaker last year
  • Booker T added Chris Island to his roster
  • The Undertaker went with Dani Sekelsky
  • Michelle McCool picked newcomer Trill London
  • Bubba Ray chose newcomer Haze Jameson
  • Booker T selected Sirena Linton
  • The Undertaker drafted Bayley Humphrey, a returning team member
  • Michelle rounded out her team with Summer Sorrell
  • That left Tatyanna Dumas to join Team Booker by default

There was a bit of tension when Drake Morreaux told Bubba Ray he didn’t want to be on his team. He reminded him that BJ was his pick last season and suggested he choose him again. Bubba agreed, so Drake was placed on Team Undertaker.

With all teams finalized, the Future Greats began preparing for their upcoming matches. After the matches, the Legends provided feedback and awarded the first official points of the season.

For the men: Bubba Ray chose BJ Ray. The Undertaker picked Drake Morreaux. Michelle McCool selected Harlem Lewis and Booker T was the deciding vote, also choosing Harlem, earning his team their first point.

Current Scoreboard:

  • Team Undertaker: 1
  • Team Booker T: 1
  • Team Michelle McCool: 0
  • Team Bubba Ray: 0

The Matches on Episode 2

Drake Morreaux def. Trill London

Trill London is extremely charismatic and has that undeniable it factor. His style is reminiscent of a modern-day Jeff Hardy. He carries himself with confidence and a unique swagger. We saw a different side of Drake Morreaux this time which we weren’t used to. He brought a more serious attitude to the match and showed visible frustration throughout.

Trill impressed with his instincts and creative moveset. But, a risky attempt to spring off the top rope led to a nasty fall. Drake took advantage of the mistake and hit his finisher to secure the win.

Dani Sekelsky def. Summer Sorrell

Dani Sekelsky showed a different attitude this time around. She debuted new entrance music and made it clear she wasn’t going to slow down for the newcomer, Summer Sorrell. It was obvious that Summer is still very new and inexperienced. Dani took full advantage of that, ultimately forcing Summer to tap out by hyperextending her knee.

Harlem Lewis def. BJ Ray

BJ Ray had the crowd fired up during his entrance. He may be an acquired taste, but the people clearly love him. He and Harlem Lewis delivered some great back-and-forth action and standout moments throughout the match. They looked smooth together and had strong in-ring chemistry.

BJ was able to showcase his unique moveset, while Harlem displayed his trademark intensity. It was a great match overall, but Harlem picked up the win after landing his Jackhammer.

Bayley Humphrey def. Haze Jameson

Bayley returned this season looking better than ever. She’s starting to understand the ring more and embrace just how dominant she’s meant to be. Haze Jameson had the chance to showcase her personality, but neither woman’s strikes were landing with much impact. They looked weak at times.

Still, Jameson put up a good fight and had her moments, but Bayley controlled the match for the most part. She sealed the win by hitting her insane finisher on Haze.
